Trademark Filing
Are you ready to Protect your Brand?
It's time you put a seatbelt on your business & brand by OWNING your TRADEMARK!!!!
While over the course of your business you may need several Trademarks, Always start with Protecting your Business name first, but you can protect your logo, tag-lines, hashtags, packaging, sounds & smells!
Once you decide what you’re going to Trademark, you’ll need to decide how many classification to add to your filing. For example If you’re a life coach you may only need to file your Business Name under the life coaching services classification. But if you were a life coach who had merchandise and a TV show, you’d need to file under 3 classifications to fully protect your brand. (but have no fear, if you’re not ready to file multiple classification you can add more to your Trademark later)
But you should start your Trademark application sooner than later as the entire process can take anywhere from 8-18months before it’s registered.
The Trademark Process is as follows:
Phase 1: You will Fill out the Trademark questionnaire at checkout to begin the process & I'll begin the preliminary research by conducting a full USPTO.GOV search while also conducting a search on international marks. Takes 5-7 business days
Phase 2. The United States Patent & Trademark Examining Attorney will have 3-6 months to review the application and submit question to me.
Phase 3. The Application is approved and submitted for Publication in the Trademark National publication. (this is where any potential companies that think your mark is similar have an opportunity to file a notice)
Phase 4. Final review & Trademark Registration by USPTO Takes 6 weeks
